The Business Development Centre (BDC) provides a "One Stop Shop" service for individuals who want to:
- establish a business
- operate an existing business
- add value to their existing product
- improve their current business operations.
Dianne Turco, Business Facilitator and Manager of the BDC, works with individuals and groups to find the resources they need. Through confidential, one-to-one facilitation, people with new business ideas are given advice relating to training, funding and general direction.
The BDC is the agency for a business mentoring programme called Business in the Community. To become a mentor or to request the services of a mentor you can visit www.businessmentor.org.nz or call the BDC for more information.
